- The Great Pyramid of Cheops, the most mysterious architectural work of mankind. The Great Pyramid of Cheops is the oldest and only remaining structure among the 7 wonders of the ancient world, also known as the Great Pyramid. It was built in 2560 BC as a tomb for Pharaoh Cheops of the Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt.
- The Pyramid of Khafre: Currently, the Pyramid of Khafre is the tallest pyramid in the group because the Great Pyramid has lost about 30 feet of height from the material at the top. In ancient times, the Pyramid of Khufu was indeed the tallest, but in reality, it appeared taller because its sides have a steeper angle compared to the Pyramid of Khufu, and it was built on higher ground.
- The Pyramid of Menkaure: The Pyramid of Menkaure, also known as the Mycerinus Pyramid or Menkaura Pyramid, is the third pyramid and the smallest at Giza. This pyramid dates back 4500 years and served as the tomb for Pharaoh Menkaure of the Fourth Dynasty.
- The Memphis Museum, located in Memphis – the ancient capital of Egypt and the most important city throughout the history of ancient Egypt.
- The Step Pyramid of Djoser – This is the first pyramid built with a structure made from the oldest stone blocks in the world. The person responsible for designing and constructing this pyramid was none other than Chancellor Imhotep, who served under Pharaoh Djoser. The most notable difference between Djoser and Khufu is their shapes. Unlike the Great Pyramid, Djoser consists of 6 steps similar to the Ziggurat pyramids of ancient Mesopotamia, hence it is also called the Step Pyramid of Saqqara.
- The Sphinx, a statue with a lion’s body and a human head, measures 45 meters in length and is carved from a single block of natural stone.
- The Papyrus Institute, where customers can learn how ancient Egyptians created paper and the technology for extracting perfumes…
