SAI GON – CHAU DOC – CAN THO

06h15 – 06h40: The car and tour guide will pick up guests at the designated meeting points in the pickup program.

Guests arrive at the meeting point and begin the 3-day, 2-night tour of the Mekong Delta: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Chau Doc – Can Tho.

10h00: The car arrives in My Tho, and guests board a motorboat (about 20 minutes) to the first sightseeing spot – Lân Island.

Upon arriving at Lan Island, guests visit the honey-making facility and enjoy honey tea along with fruit jams. After that, the tour guide will take the group around the village to explore the lives of the people in the Mekong Delta.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy fruits while listening to Don ca tai tu , a cultural highlight of the Mekong Delta tourism.

Continuing the journey, guests will ride on a small boat – a three-leaf canoe (about 15 minutes of rowing) along the lush green canal shaded by water coconut trees, and the canoe will take guests back to the motorboat.

Guests will continue to visit the coconut candy production facility, with the boat running along the canal flanked by fruit orchards. Guests will enter the coconut candy workshop to see the production process firsthand.

Guests will take a horse-drawn carriage or lambro to explore the village road of Tân Thạch to admire the fruit orchards and the simple life of the coconut-growing people.

Noon: Guests will have lunch at a restaurant, enjoying dishes rich in garden flavors.

Afternoon: The boat will take guests back to My Tho pier, after which guests will depart for Chau Doc. Along the way, enjoy the scenery of the Mỹ Thuận Bridge, the most famous bridge in the Mekong Delta.

The journey takes guests through the Mekong Delta, passing through landmarks in Đồng Tháp such as Sa Dec, Lai Vung, Cao Lãnh, and the Long Xuyen quadrangle. Upon arriving in Chau Doc, guests will check into the hotel.

Evening: Upon arrival in Chau Doc, guests will check into the hotel to rest and enjoy a special dinner featuring the famous An Giang fish hotpot. Guests are free to stroll around Chau Doc city at night, and they can try the famous pomelo dessert from An Giang. Wishing guests a fun evening filled with memories…

Overnight in Chau Doc.

Morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel. Guests depart to visit Mount Sam to pay respects at:

• Ba Chua Xu Temple
• Tay An Ancient Pagoda
• Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb

After that, guests continue their journey towards Tinh Bien along the Vinh Te canal, passing through the Thất Sơn range – Mount Cam, Mount Ket, and unique Khmer pagodas.

Arriving at Nha Bang district, guests then enter Tra Su Melaleuca Forest.

Guests begin to explore the beautiful flooded Melaleuca forest ecosystem in the morning along the designated route. Guests walk 500 meters from the parking lot to the boat dock, then take a tắc ráng (motorboat) for about 10 minutes along the canal bank in the shaded Melaleuca forest to the first stop. Guests then switch to a paddle boat, which is the most exciting part of the journey.

The paddle boat gently glides through the water into the lush green Melaleuca forest with stunning scenery. The water is covered with a light green hue from the floating water hyacinths, resembling giant carpets covering the entire Melaleuca forest. In the cool atmosphere, the boat glides smoothly, creating an indescribable feeling of lightness, as life slows down, and the happiness index seems to rise noticeably.

• Guests can set aside the worries of life and enjoy the refreshing feeling of being amidst the beautiful wild nature.
• Here, guests can see the bold birds hunting for food among the green water hyacinths. After a round of exploration, the boat takes guests back to the dock to continue the next journey.
• The Tac rang takes guests along the narrow path through the Melaleuca forest to the next stop. Here, guests can climb the observation tower to admire the panoramic view of Trà Sư Melaleuca forest, walk along the dirt path in the forest to capture beautiful photos, and take pictures of the bridge crossing the canal. After that, guests arrive at the restaurant area set up with small stilt houses in the wild nature, creating a romantic atmosphere.

Afternoon: Guests have lunch with rustic dishes rich in the essence of the Mekong Delta. After lunch, the tắc ráng takes guests back to the dock, concluding the visit to Trà Sư Melaleuca forest.

Evening: The bus takes guests to Can Tho, the bustling land of Tây Đô in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in Can Tho, guests check into the hotel to rest.

Night: Dinner is served on the Can Tho Cruise Restaurant, where guests can enjoy local specialties while listening to the smooth melodies of traditional music on the poetic Hau River… After the boat docks, guests are free to explore Tây Đô at night.

Overnight in Can Tho.

04h50: Guests wake up early. The tour guide accompanies guests to the Can Tho pier to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market in the early morning. Here, the group explores and learns about the unique lifestyle of the riverine residents, where hundreds of boats and ships trade local goods and specialties, allowing tourists to buy and sell with the merchants of the Mekong Delta.

After that, guests return to the mainland to check out of the hotel. Guests enjoy breakfast.

09h00: The bus takes guests to the pier to move to the eco-tourism area of Con Son:

• Guests board a boat to visit the fish farms on the Hau River: Over 30 large and small fish farms form a long line of about a kilometer, standing proudly against the waves of the Mekong Delta with many types of fish such as basa, snakehead fish, and others, but the main focus is on the snakehead fish.
• Koi fish massage & enjoy snakehead fish cake: The group admires thousands of Koi fish in various colors and experiences the fascinating Koi fish massage. After the massage, the group enjoys snakehead fish cake.

• Guests board a boat to visit the fish farms on the Hau River: Over 30 large and small fish farms form a long line of about a kilometer, standing proudly against the waves of the Mekong Delta with many types of fish such as basa, snakehead fish, and others, but the main focus is on the snakehead fish.

   

• Koi fish massage & enjoy snakehead fish cake: The group admires thousands of Koi fish in various colors and experiences the fascinating Koi fish massage. After the massage, the group enjoys snakehead fish cake.

Noon: Guests have lunch at the Con Son Community Tourism Village with local specialty dishes.

14h00: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City – On the way back, guests stop to visit the Purple House film studio – notable for its dominant purple tone, with many scenic spots for guests to check in (costs are self-funded).

18h00: Guests arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City, and the tour guide bids farewell, hoping to see you again! End of the tour!
