Significance
The significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival and its origins are not known to everyone. According to the ancient Vietnamese belief, the 15th day of the 8th lunar month is considered a “good” day to perform the ceremony to worship the moon god. On this day, family members wish to gather together and prepare offerings to their ancestors. As night falls, the golden moonlight envelops the earth.
