FLOWER VILLAGE SA DEC 01 DAY

In the morning: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the designated meeting points to depart for Dong Thap.

The group will have breakfast at the restaurant (noodles, depending on the daily menu).

• The vehicle will take the group to Lai Vung to visit the Lai Vung Pink Grapefruit Garden, where you can admire the straight rows of grapefruit trees laden with fruit, covering an area of nearly 2,000 hectares and producing over 40,000 tons of fruit annually for the Tet holiday.

In the afternoon: Guests will have lunch at the restaurant.

In the afternoon: Guests will continue to visit:

• The Rose Flower Field, where you can watch the performance of “Flying Snakehead Fish” on the large lotus pond and freely take photos with the Flower River, Flower Boat…

• The tour guide will lead the group to visit Sa Dec Flower Village. The current area of ornamental flowers in the village is over 400 hectares, with more than 2,000 households growing and trading flowers for both domestic and international markets. The flower village has recently been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as one of the top 50 attractive destinations in Vietnam and voted as one of the 10 most beloved flower villages in the country. Sa Dec flowers are grown year-round, allowing visitors to enjoy and take photos with hundreds of unique flower species in a Southern countryside setting with a traditional flower-growing profession that has lasted over 100 years. Guests will have the opportunity to see the bustling scene of locals in the Tet atmosphere and admire hundreds of unique flowers from this area.

• Visit the Kien An Cung Pagoda – a temple built by a group of Chinese people from Fujian Province (China) who settled in Sa Dec to worship their ancestors and educate their descendants, as well as to connect the community, hold meetings, and discuss trade and information exchange… The ancient temple, nearly a hundred years old, features unique and splendid architectural art that strongly reflects Chinese style, creating a distinctive characteristic of the Chinese temple in the South.

• Additionally, if time permits, guests can visit the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House – Besides the value of combining Eastern and Western architectural styles, the ancient house is also famous for its connection to a borderless love story between French writer Marguerite Duras and wealthy Vietnamese-Chinese heir Huynh Thuy Le in the early 20th century (entrance fee not included).

After that, depart for Ho Chi Minh City, and on the way back, guests can stop to buy local specialties from Sa Dec such as Lai Vung Spring Rolls, Sa Giang Shrimp Chips, Pink Grapefruit…

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, the tour guide will bid farewell to the guests and hope to see them again!

Tip: To have beautiful photos, guests should bring along some traditional Vietnamese dresses (ao ba ba).
