SA DEC FLOWER VILLAGE 2 DAYS 1 NIGHTS

In the morning: The bus and tour guide will pick you up at the designated meeting points to depart for Dong Thap. The group will have breakfast at the restaurant.

The bus will take the group to Xeo Quyt Ecotourism Area, where you will immediately feel the beautiful natural scenery.

Visiting Xeo Quyt in the dry season, you can wander along the winding paths under the cool shade of the tràm trees. In the flood season, on a small boat, the local guides in black traditional attire, with checkered scarves and wide-brimmed hats, will take you through the pristine small canals to reach the historical sites hidden in the vast tràm forest.

Here, the ecological environment is incredibly diverse with over 170 plant species: tràm, gáo, sậy, trâm bầu, lotus, water lily… and more than 200 species of wildlife, including 13 species listed in the Vietnam Red Book such as the python, rat snake, otter, and box turtle… Therefore, Xeo Quyt is often referred to as a miniature version of Dong Thap Muoi (The cost for the boat ride in Xeo Quyt Ecotourism Area is self-funded).

in the afternoon: Guests will have lunch at the Ecotourism Area and then head back to Cao Lanh to check in and rest.

In the evening: The group will move to the pier to cross Tan Thanh Dong Islet to visit the Local Market – Experience the interesting traditional cake-making process, enjoy the rural scenery. Taste local specialties and various traditional cakes. Visit the stalls and shop for Dong Thap specialty products.

At night: Guests will have dinner at the restaurant and are free to explore Cao Lanh City at night.

In the morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel and check out.

• The group departs to visit Sa Dec Flower Village to admire the beauty of the ornamental flower village of Tan Quy Dong – Sa Dec Flower Village on an electric vehicle from Sa Dec Bridge 2 to Tan Quy Dong Primary School and back. The current area of ornamental flowers in the village is over 400 hectares, with more than 2,000 households growing and trading flowers for both domestic and international markets. The flower village has recently been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as one of the top 50 attractive destinations in Vietnam and voted as one of the 10 most beloved flower villages/gardens in the country. Sa Dec flowers are grown year-round, and visitors can enjoy taking photos with hundreds of unique flower species in a Southern countryside with a traditional flower-growing profession that has lasted for over 100 years. Guests will have the opportunity to see the bustling scenery of the locals in the festive atmosphere and admire hundreds of unique flowers from this place.

• The bus takes the group to Lai Vung to visit the Lai Vung Pink Grapefruit Garden, where they can admire the straight rows of grapefruit trees laden with fruit, with an area dedicated to pink grapefruit cultivation reaching nearly 2,000 hectares, producing over 40,000 tons of fruit annually for the Tet season.

In the afternoon: Guests visit Phuoc Kieng Pagoda, which is popular among tourists and Buddhists due to its very special lotus pond. When mentioning lotus flowers, people often think of their elegant, delicate beauty. However, the lotus flowers in Phuoc Kieng Pagoda in Dong Thap are famous for their gigantic size, capable of “carrying” a person while only slightly disturbing the water’s surface.

After that, the group departs back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, guests can stop to buy Sa Dec specialties such as Lai Vung spring rolls, Sa Giang shrimp chips, and pink grapefruit.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, the tour guide bids farewell to the guests and hopes to see them again!

Tip: To have beautiful photos, guests should consider wearing traditional ao ba ba.
